A Long Way Gone

In language arts class we just finished a book called A Long Way Gone. It is about a boy named Ishmael and his journey to find safety and comfort from the war in Sierra Leone. He starts out with his brother and friends from his village, but after several mishaps they get separated and never see each other again.
